From a dream to reality

Our small company started in 1996, driven by a deep fascination with Asian cultures and traditions. With each trip, we explored corners of India, Nepal, and Indonesia, where we discovered an artisanal and cultural richness that inspired us to bring it to our Western customers.

During one of these trips to Bali, we found a special connection with the people and their artisans. The authenticity and respect for their traditions became the heart of our company. When my wife, originally from Bali, joined the company, this connection deepened even further. Her knowledge and love for her homeland allowed us to bring Balinese culture more genuinely to our customers, creating a unique relationship between Bali and Bali Kupu-Kupu.
